This all around hydrocarbon HC wax can be ironed onto new skis or used to seal skis during summer storage. This wax contains a hard additive in addition to the hydrocarbon. While the HC wax penetrates deeply into the base, the harder additive rises to the top of the base pulling with it any unwanted p tex fibers that can then be scraped off
